Accepted Conditions
Common health conditions such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, stroke, and diabetes do not affect eligibility. Organ transplant recipients also qualify.
Ineligible Conditions
Contagious diseases (HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B/C, active tuberculosis), severe obesity/extreme BMI, decomposition, or traumatic injury.
Other Consideration Factors
Consent or legal authority issues; suitability for current research or education needs; donors must be ≥18 years old (no upper limit).
