David Philip Reed, 50, of Los Angeles, California, passed away on July 22, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He was born on April 1, 1975, in Boulder, Colorado, to Gil and Kathleen Reed.
David worked as an actor and had many interests, including movies, playing chess, going to the beach, spending time in nature, and enjoying sports. He was athletic, fun-loving, dependable, and stoic. David loved his family and valued time with them.
He is survived by his father, Gil Reed; his stepmother, Bernadette Reed; his brothers, Daniel Reed (Kim) and Nicholas Reed; his nephews, Austin and Addison Reed; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Reed; his grandparents, Evelyn and Larry Hancock and Elmer and Mary Reed; and his step-grandparents, Al and Rose Cervera.
David will be remembered as a gentle soul who cared deeply for the beauty in nature, his family, his close friends, music, and sports. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
