With heartfelt sorrow, we share the passing of Delia Prendez, born in Brownsville, Texas, on March 3, 1959, and who passed away on September 29, 2026.

Delia loved to bake and made delicious cookies. She loved chickens and had many chicken decorations. She loved her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She loved listening to music, especially oldies, and enjoyed caring for her plants and gardening.

Delia retired from Target after 34 years of service. After retirement, she worked at a daycare because she loved children.

Delia was very friendly, kind-hearted, and loved to laugh. She was a social butterfly. She was a proud mother to her son Joseph and her stepchildren, Jerry Jr. and Sarah Morin. She loved planning parties, especially family reunions, and was proud of her award-winning photos and award-winning caramel corn. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and caring demeanor.

Delia is survived by her husband and love of her life, Jerry Sr.; her son, Joseph; her son, Jerry Jr.; her daughter, Sarah; her sister, Maria Rosas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Juanita Rosas; her newborn son, Ryan; her brother, Johnny; and her sister, Rita.
