Marjorie Lee Kelley, of Murrieta, California, passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 77.
Marjorie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family meant everything to her. Her greatest joy was spending time with the people she loved, especially her beloved great- grandchildren. The bonds she shared with her family were at the heart of her life, and the memories they created together will be cherished for generations.
Anyone who knew Marjorie knew she was a fighter. As a breast cancer survivor, she showed strength, courage, and determination. She faced life’s challenges with a spirit that refused to give up, demonstrating the resilience that was such an important part of who she was.
Marjorie was also known for her humor and her unmistakable wisdom. In our family, we jokingly call it having the “granny gene” when someone thinks they know it all. It was a lighthearted way to celebrate that special blend of grandmotherly wisdom and personality that made her who she was. Her humor and the memories she created with those she loved will continue to bring smiles to those who knew her.
Marjorie is lovingly remembered by her sister, Iris Bonfiglio, of North Plains, Oregon; her two sons, Timothy Edwards (and his spouse, Denise Edwards) and Steven Edwards (and his spouse, Michelle Edwards) along with the families they built and the generations that brought her so much joy.
Through Timothy and Denise, Marjorie leaves behind her grandchildren Landon Edwards (and his spouse, Bianca Edwards) and Reese Edwards. Landon and Bianca are the parents of her great-grandsons, Forrest Edwards and Silas Edwards.
Through Steven and Michelle, Marjorie leaves behind her granddaughter Christina Force (and her spouse, Cameron Force) and her grandson Steven Edwards Jr. (and his spouse, Marie Edwards). Christina and Cameron are the parents of her great-grandchildren Korra Force and Alan Force. Steven Jr. and Marie are the parents of her great-grandchildren Mikayla Edwards, Aaliyah Edwards, and Kenzo Edwards.
On November 19, 2026, Marjorie’s ashes will be placed with her beloved mother, Grace Fern Stewart, at Mission City Memorial Park in Santa Clara, California, bringing mother and daughter together once more.
Though Marjorie is no longer physically with us, her love will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind. She will be remembered for her fighting spirit, her humor, and the lasting impact she made on the people who loved her.
Marjorie will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
