Nathan ‘Nate’ Alexander Makuch, 34, died unexpectedly on July 23, 2025, in West Hollywood, CA.
Nate was born in Cleveland, OH, in 1991 to Joe and Wendi Makuch. The family moved to Portland, OR, when he was about 18 months old. He attended Capitol Hill School, Jackson Middle School, and Wilson High School before receiving a Bachelor of Science in Digital Arts at the University of Oregon.
Nate skipped UO’s commencement so he could start as a Junior Designer in a prestigious internship at 72andSunny in Los Angeles. He then worked at Flaunt Magazine, Fullscreen Media, XX Artists, Lupine Creative, and Sphere Entertainment part of Madison Square Garden).
Nate is survived by his parents (Joe and Wendi) and three brothers - Ben, Jake, and Sam.
There will be a memorial service in Portland, OR, on October 5, 2025.
