Andrea Chapa passed away on October 9, 2025, in Indio, California, due to heart issues and kidney problems. She was born in Riverside County and lived a life filled with love, faith, and creativity.
Andrea was loving, strong willed, funny, and a true social butterfly. Although she battled her many struggles, she enjoyed reading her Bible and sharing God’s word with others. Art was another passion that brought her joy, whether she was drawing, coloring, or relaxing while listening to oldies but goodies music.
Her proudest accomplishments were her children and the love she gave to her family and friends. Andrea’s faith was central to her life, and she would want to be remembered for loving the Lord and loving those around her with her whole heart.
Andrea is survived by her three daughters and her son, along with her siblings: Luis Royel Jr., Orcela Martinez, Alante Charles, Marina Loera, Adrianna Chapa, Alexandra Chapa, Luis Royel Jr. 3rd Chapa, Brandy Chapa, Manuel Fuentes, and Robert Loera.
She was preceded in death by her cousins Janisha Chavera, Janell Chavera, and Evan Valdez, her boyfriend Dino Benavidez, Susanna Benavidez and family, and Cecillia Figueroa and family.
A Celebration of Life service for Andrea will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Desert Christian Community Church, 31280 Sierra Del Sol, Thousand Palms, California.
Andrea will be dearly missed. Until we meet again, sister.
