Obituary

Andree Lorraine Petrenko was born in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, and passed away in Indio, California, from heart and respiratory complications.

For more than 20 years, Andree worked in the real estate industry and was very proud of her successful career that allowed her to purchase her own home in Palm Desert. Andree was a loving, kind, and compassionate soul with a sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor.

Her beloved pet, Norma Jean, was her constant companion.  She was a fan of the 50's era, its music, the color 'pink' and iconic Marilyn Monroe.  With her signature platinum blonde hair, Andree will be remembered as a kind, loving, compassionate spirit who will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Cecile Antaya.

Survived by her sister, Michele Antaya, husband Bowd, and nephew in the UK.  

Survived by her cousin Christina Anderson, husband Bruce, and their 2 sons in California and numerous cousins in Quebec, Canada.

She will be sorely missed by her dear friends of 35+ years, Krystyna and Doug Widdifield, as well as the entire Widdifield family and everyone who knew and loved her.

Andree’s kindness and bright spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.  May she rest in peace.
