Angie Fernandez was born on February 28, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on March 1, 2026, in Whittier, California, after battling lung cancer.

Angie was a quiet and soft-spoken person whose kindness and steady presence meant a great deal to the people around her. She was loyal, dependable, courageous, and nurturing. Those who knew her often described her as intelligent, thoughtful, and strong in a quiet way. She also enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.

Her greatest pride was her children and grandchildren. Family was always at the center of her life, and many of her favorite moments were spent enjoying simple things together.

In her free time, Angie enjoyed playing Animal Crossing, listening to music, watching movies, visiting Disneyland, and looking through family photos. 

She is survived by her brothers David and Joseph; her daughters Crystal and Monique; her grandchildren Cassandra, Robert, Jaycee,Savannah, and Kairi; and her great-granddaughter Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shalesha; her sisters Lilly and Dolores; her brother Henry; and her parents Andrellita and Henry.

Angie would want to be remembered as a source of joy and kindness. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service or memorial. She hoped that those who knew her would remember her through happy memories and moments of joy shared together.
