It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Arturo Thomas, who departed this life on January 6, 2026, in Burbank, California. Arturo was a cherished member of our family and community, known for kindness, generosity, and a warm spirit that touched many lives. Born on September 27, 1959, in Panama, Republic of Panama, Arturo was a loving uncle, brother, and son who always supported his family. He is survived by his devoted siblings: Victor Thomas, Nathan Thomas Jr., Armando Thomas, Lisca Gaffney, Olga Sessions, and Janna Hurd. Arturo is also remembered fondly by his many nephews and nieces, all of whom were touched by his unwavering support and affection. Along with spending time with family and friends, Arturo was an avid Laker fan and enjoyed sports and the local news.
Services
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at 5 PM at ICGC Royal Temple in Houston, Texas. All who wish to honor Arturo’s memory are welcome to attend.
