Bertha Chavira passed away on November 21, 2025, in Pomona, California, due to an AAA rupture. She was born on September 16, 1936, in El Paso, Texas, and lived her life with remarkable strength, resilience, and independence. She was the heart of her family, a woman whose honesty was as unwavering as her love. With Bertha, you always knew where you stood because she was known for being brutally honest..

Bertha enjoyed many simple joys that brought her happiness: cheering for Dodger baseball, spending time at the casino, tackling crossword puzzles, and savoring her three cups of coffee each morning. Above all, she loved checking in on her grandchildren and staying connected to those she held dear.

One of her proudest accomplishments was raising her family while navigating life’s challenges with courage. She passed down meaningful traditions and fostered a legacy of unconditional love and wisdom that will continue through every generation she touched.

Bertha is survived by her children and grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her mother, Antonia,daughter ,Yolanda and Grandson ,Anthony.

Her legacy of love, honesty, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

A Memorial was not wished by Bertha; details are still to be determined. 

A memorial reception will be hosted by Andy once grandma's ashes are returned.
