Brenda Garnett was born on February 18, 1950, in Belize City, Belize, and passed away on March 14, 2026, in Temecula, California, after a battle with cancer.

Brenda migrated to the United States after being given her green card where she married Errol Garnett and had her one and only child, a son, Errol Garnett Jr. After becoming a single mom, Brenda built a long and dedicated career in the insurance industry, where she worked for 35 years plus year as a customer service specialist in the tough and challenging insurance Industry.

Outside of work, Brenda valued an active and meaningful life. She enjoyed walking five miles daily at the park, a routine that kept her energized and connected to the outdoors. She also loved spending time with friends playing board games. Her faith was an important part of her life as well, as she faithfully attended Bible study every Friday night and church every Sunday.

Brenda was known for her feisty personality and her honesty. One of her proudest accomplishments was raising her son on her own, guiding him through some of the toughest neighborhoods with love, determination, and resilience. Watching him grow into a successful man brought her great pride.

She would want to be remembered as a fighter to the end, someone who faced life’s challenges with strength and perseverance.

Brenda is survived by her son, Errol Garnett. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daphne Kisling, and her brother, Philip Kisling.

Brenda’s strength, honesty, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
