Brian Gibson, 63, of Corona, California passed away on July 10th, 2026.
Brian was born to Keith Gibson and Billie Lewis (Knight) in Boulder, Colorado. His childhood was spent making memories of swimming in a local swimming hole, mushroom hunting, and typical childhood shenanigans with his 3 siblings and extended family in his hometown of Superior, Colorado. He attended and graduated from Broomfield High School in Broomfield.
After high school Brian joined the United States Navy and spent 4 years touring on the USS Ranger. After the military Brian relocated to California, first settling in Torrance. In 2000 he bought a home in Corona, where he lived until his passing.
Brian worked in San Pedro at Terminal Island for ExxonMobil (which later became PBF Energy), retiring in September of 2025 after 32 years of service.
Brian was not shy and would talk to anyone he met like they were old friends, and because of that charm he made friends far and wide. He loved fishing, metal detecting, and riding on his prized motorcycles.
He is survived by his daughters Brieanne and Amber, his granddaughters Hayden, Haley, and Megan, and son-in-law Keith. Other surviving family include stepmother Della, uncle Bruce and aunt June, siblings Lecia, Keith, Herb, Tina, and Toni, and many nieces and nephews.
We would also like to acknowledge the lady in his life, Jessica, whose relationship with him had just begun to blossom.
He is preceded in death by his father Keith Gibson, his mother Billie Lewis, and stepfather Lowell Lewis.
