Caleb Richard Duarte, age 38, of Los Angeles, California, passed away on May 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 23, 1987, in Monterey Park, California, Caleb lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to those who could not speak for themselves.

Caleb earned his degree in Computer Technology and channeled his talents into building his own business, where his warmth and genuine nature became the foundation of his success. Known for his friendly demeanor and sincere approach, he cultivated lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and friends alike. His professional accomplishments were many, yet among all of his achievements, Caleb was proudest of his work rescuing cats and providing them with safe, loving homes.

A gentle soul by nature, Caleb was recognized by all who knew him for his compassion and generosity. He donated regularly to homeless animal rescue organizations and devoted considerable time and resources to multiple cat and dog rescue communities throughout the Los Angeles area. He believed deeply that it was his duty to care for abandoned animals, and he fulfilled that calling with quiet dedication and boundless love. His kindness extended to every living creature he encountered, and his impact on the lives of countless rescued animals will endure long after his passing.

Caleb is survived by his father, Fernando Duarte; his mother, Cynthia Ramirez; his stepfather, Jason Ramirez; and his beloved sisters, Melody Urieli and Sophia Ramirez He also leaves behind a wide circle of devoted friends and business associates whose lives were enriched by his presence.

Caleb's compassion for all of God's creatures reflected the goodness that defined his character, and his family takes comfort in knowing that his gentle spirit now rests in eternal peace.

In keeping with his wishes, Caleb chose cremation. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, support, and kindness shown during this difficult time.
