Carol Elaine Palmer also best known as Nana was born on May 7th, 1951 in Winchester Kentucky and passed away on June 28th, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Black Diamond Washington.

Carol married her Enumclaw junior high school sweetheart Richard Palmer on February 9th, 1968 when they decided to plant their family roots in Black Diamond while raising their two daughters Rhonda and Shannon. She found her true joy in being a home maker and that’s where she found her love to bake, garden, bird Watch, read endless number of books, thrifting, doing crossword puzzles, needle pointing, and listening to country music. Holidays were Carol's absolute favorite along with Day trips to the beach with her family. Her most enjoyable time was spent with her children and grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Richard Palmer and daughter Shannon Craig.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda(Paul)Kuhnle, 3 grandchildren Chantilly(Arron)Pemberton, Shelby(Alex)Palmer, Chloe Olson, and 7 great grandchildren. Along with her two sisters Alberta Tyner and Betty Pitcher.

Her celebration of life will be held on August 22nd, 2026 at the Black Diamond Eagles from 12pm to 3pm.
