It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Anthony Eliff, who passed away on July 13, 2026, in Southgate, California, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. He was 63 years old.

Charles was born on February 9, 1963, in Compton, California. Known to many as "Charlie or Charlie Compton," he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, homie, and friend who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Charlie worked in medical records at Kaiser, until the time he retired. 

He was a passionate sports fan who proudly cheered for the Lakers, Rams, and Dodgers. He also took great pride in purchasing his home and owning his lowrider, accomplishments that brought him great joy.

Charlie was known for being stubborn, insightful, easygoing, and sociable. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Charlie is survived by his devoted wife, Yolanda; their son, Joseph; his daughters, Stephanie and Nina; his stepdaughters, Christina and Violet; his grandchildren, Joshua, Zayn, Michael, Alynna, Ryder, Larissa, Hailey, and Leo; and his loving sister, Josie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Eliff.

Charlie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.
