Cheryl Ann Burton
Obituary

Cheryl (Broz) Burton was born on the 7th of December 1954 to Arthur James “Jim” and Delores (Jensen) Broz in Los Angeles California.  

Cheryl passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in Downey California on July 5th with her beloved son by her side.  

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Sue Ann Broz. She is survived by her son Charles (Retah) Luster; three grandsons: Bo Luster, Samuel (Megan) Luster; James Luster and one granddaughter Paige Luster; one great grandchild: Logan.  

Cheryl felt blessed that she resided in her childhood home in Downey that was built by her father.  

Cheryl enjoyed spending time outside in her garden, working on her genealogy and she was known for her kindness to animals and caring for the ones in her neighborhood, especially the cats.  

Cheryl was a hippie at heart and loved the music of the 60’s and 70’s and Classic Rock and attended many concerts of that era. 

Cheryl worked at Ralph's for many years.  

Cheryl’s wishes were not to have a memorial service Her family requests memorials to honor her memory be made to a local animal shelter or your place of worship.
