Cristi Ann Yager, age 37, of North Texas, passed away on January 26, 2026. She was born on April 4, 1988, and spent her entire life in North Texas, where she was known for her kind heart, loyalty, and unconditional love for her family and friends.

Cristi loved deeply and lived with compassion. Family meant everything to her, and she treated her friends as brothers and sisters. She had a rare ability to make people feel accepted just as they were, offering understanding without judgment. Her warmth, humor, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her fiance and true love, Seth Hamilton of Lancaster, Texas; her mother, Sheila Yager of Wilmer, Texas; her father and stepmother, Rick and Stephanie Yager of Kemp, Texas; her sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Stephen Howard of Rockwall, Texas; her sister, Candace Johnston of Midlothian, Texas; her brothers, Carson Yager of Kemp, Texas, Ricky Yager of Forney, Texas, and Nicholas Yager of Wilmer, Texas; her stepsister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Kris Brown of DeSoto, Texas; her stepsister, Jessica Whitehead of Mineral Wells, Texas; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Cristi loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews and cherished every moment spent with them.

Cristi’s life was centered on love, family, and friendship. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her loyalty to those she cared for, and the way she made others feel seen and valued.

A memorial service and celebration of life (Yagerfest 3) will be held at a later date. Service details will be announced when finalized.

Cristi Ann Yager will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
