Dale Thomas Marx, 83, of Panorama City, CA, passed away on October 24, 2025. Dale, born on July 10, 1942 was the youngest child of Elsie Eliza (nee Credit) and William Jacob Marx of St Louis Missouri.

Dale moved to Hollywood California with his widowed mother in 1957 and spent the majority of his life in that neighborhood. Dale attended Hollywood High School, Los Angeles City College and the University of Southern California. While attending college he found his vocation working in a machine shop, Keefer's Automotive. He left higher education and apprenticed himself to the shop machinist.

Dale spent over 50 years working as an automotive machinist. His expertise and experience with all types of engines made him a much sought after consultant well into retirement.

In his nonprofessional life Dale had an all-around handyman capability and a green thumb, as well as a tinkerer's soul; he was always working on a project.

Dale was a devoted husband to Pamela Atkinson and an engaged father to Bradley, Daniel (Daisy Levano) and Margaret Marx. He was a delighted grandfather to Isabella and Guinevere Marx.

The family is planning a private memorial.
