Darnell Clayton was born in Los Angeles, California, and passed away in Los Angeles on October 29, 2025.

Darnell had a quiet and kind nature and was truly a joy to be around. He was known as a caring and protective brother who deeply valued his family. He had a passion for music production, horticulture, and animals, interests that reflected his creativity and gentle spirit. Darnell worked for many years as a dedicated employee at Marriott Hotels, where he was known for his reliability and commitment.

He would want to be remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle.

Darnell is survived by his father, Cornell Clayton; his brothers, Cornell Clayton and Tarnell Clayton; his nieces, Malaya Clayton and Kaylonnie Clayton; his nephew, Zaire Clayton; and a host of extended family who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Dorine Grant.
