Darrell Brown, lovingly known as "D," passed away on August 10, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, after a battle with cancer. He was born on November 13, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois.

Darrell worked as a plumber and was known for his personable nature, charisma, and witty sense of humor. He had a way of making people feel comfortable and could always lighten the mood with a funny comment or a silly gesture.

A devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan, Darrell enjoyed football and the time he spent with the people he loved. His proudest moment in life was the birth of his son, Jack. Becoming a father meant everything to him, and his family was always at the center of his life.

Darrell would want to be remembered as a kind and caring person who was always willing to help others. Whether offering a helping hand or making someone laugh, he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Heather; his son, Jack; his stepchildren, Chelsea and Cody; his step-grandchildren, Tannyn and Oliver; his siblings in-law, Jeff, Eric, Karyn, and Stephanie; his aunts, Kathy, Deb, and Brenda; his uncle, Wayne; his sister, Lisa; his brother, Mike; his nieces and nephews, Elijah, Liam, Kassie, and Katie; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda; his father, Darrell; and his grandmother, Dorothy.

Darrell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, laughter, and love for his family will never be forgotten.
