David Allen Pegtion passed away on May 13, 2026. He lived for 68 years and left behind some wonderful memories that touch the hearts of family and friends.

David was a brave soul who endured many afflictions throughout his life, but still managed to grace our lives with compassion, laughter and love. David’s presence will be missed by those closest to him for they knew the man he had become. David may have passed on, but his spirit lives on in our hearts.

David was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Pegtion.

David is survived by his life partner, Beth Haynes, with whom he shared a public affirmation of love and commitment on February 14, 2026. David is also survived by his mother, Janet M. Contreras, and sisters, Karen E. Wright, Nancy M. Napier, Lynne P. Bradshaw, Joyce Jones, and Jennifer D. Contreras.
