It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David George Finan, a beloved brother, uncle, loyal friend, and truly kind soul, who left us far too soon.
David was one of six siblings—an integral part of a close-knit family. As a brother, he was the kind you could count on—protective, warm, and always ready with a helping hand. His bond with his siblings was one of shared memories, mutual respect, and deep love.
To those outside the family, David was just as extraordinary. A friend to many, he had a rare gift of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His presence lit up rooms, his humor eased heavy moments, and his unwavering loyalty brought comfort to countless lives. Whether you knew him for a lifetime or a single moment, David made an indelible impression.
He lived his life with heart and the legacy he leaves behind is found in the genuine connections he nurtured, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave freely.
David will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him. Though he is gone, his spirit remains woven into the lives of those he touched.
May he rest in peace, and may we carry forward his memory with the same warmth, humor, and kindness he gave so easily to the world.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Finan. He is survived by his father, Michael Finan, siblings Michael Finan (Angie), Stephen Finan (Kim), Jeannie Payor (Stephen), Terese Allender (Derrick), Jon Finan (Carlie) and 11 nieces and nephews.
David’s family will announce the date and time of services in the coming days.
