Deborah Geraldine Kovesdy passed away on May 17, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 60.

Born on August 25, 1965, in Hialeah, Florida, Deborah was known for her positive outlook on life, her wonderful sense of humor, and her loyal and loving nature. A true social butterfly, she enjoyed connecting with others and brought joy to those around her.

Deborah loved coloring and beading. She worked for Chase Field and Talking Stick Arena for ten years before later working at Rally's Hamburgers for five years. During her time at Chase Field, she was especially proud of being promoted to Stand Lead, an accomplishment that meant a great deal to her.

Above all, Deborah treasured her family. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, roles she embraced with love and pride. She would want to be remembered as a loyal and loving person who always put family first.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Rozane Alvarado and husband Pablo Cuvas; her children, Erica Martinez, Martin Martinez, and Anthony Martinez; grandchildren Alexus, Lorenzo, Dannyella, Helena, Gennavie, Angelina, Raul, Destiny, Jamiliya, Ruben, Luis Jr., Carlos, Estella, and Sergio; great-grandson Xavier; and great-granddaughter Aleeniya.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Victoria Walton; her father, Joseph Andor Kovesdy; and her sister, Heather Rose Berney.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Cielito Park.

Deborah will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
