Edward Warren Pullen IV passed away on August 8, 2026, in Norco, California, due to heart valve failure. He was born on November 21, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio. He spent much of his childhood in El Paso, Texas, where he was raised, before later moving to California to start his family.
Edward worked in the automotive industry throughout his career, including with car rental companies and Manheim Auto Auctions. He had a lifelong passion for cars and was well respected by those who worked alongside him.
He was known for his dry sense of humor, direct personality, and dependable nature. Edward was always willing to help others in business and was someone people could count on for honest advice. He firmly believed in the "6 Ps": Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance, a saying that reflected the way he approached both work and life.
His greatest pride was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He would want to be remembered as someone who was reliable, trustworthy, and always willing to listen and offer sound advice. He was strong-willed, firm but fair, and cared deeply for those around him.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Pullen; his children, Erik Pullen, Portia Pullen, and Trevor Pullen; his stepchildren, Steven Sidenfaden and Mark Sidenfaden; and his grandchildren, Riley Pullen, Jenna Sidenfaden, Jack Sidenfaden, Sandy Fisher, Katy Sidenfaden, and Sarah Sidenfaden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Warren Pullen II and Ruth Elam; his sisters, Nancy Francis and Cindy Hancock; and his son, Kent Pullen.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pullen Residence, 2350 Norco Drive, Norco, CA 92860.
Edward will be remembered for his integrity, wisdom, sense of humor, and the lasting impact he made on his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
