Eileen Sullivan was born in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on December 27, 2025, in Menifee, California, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Eileen found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She loved talking and playing with them, being silly, and creating memories filled with laughter. She had a deep love for making art and jewelry, visiting the beach, traveling to Palomar Mountain, and dancing, which brought her happiness. She worked as a Patient Safety Specialist at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, where she dedicated herself to helping others.

Eileen was joyful and talkative, with a great sense of humor and a constant readiness to joke and laugh. She was deeply supportive of her children and grandchildren and was known for her kindness. Whether helping a close friend or a stranger in need, Eileen always showed compassion and care. She was proud of earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UC San Diego and took immense pride in her children and grandchildren.

She would want to be remembered as a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. “Choose Joy” was the name of her business and a philosophy she lived by each day, making a conscious effort to share joy with everyone around her.

Eileen is survived by her son Matthew and daughter in law Clare, her daughter Sheena and son in law Evan, and her beloved grandchildren Fordyce, Flora, and Hugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Mary Lee Sullivan, and her siblings Daniel, John, and Marguerite.

Eileen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her joy, kindness, and the love she shared so freely with her family and all who knew her.
