Obituary

With deep sadness, we share the passing of Erick Austin Maness, who was born on May 3, 1993, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away on August 27, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona. Erick lost his fight with drug abuse and the heat outside.

Growing up, Erick raced bikes for many years, winning many awards and achieving a high ranking, and get sponsored by bike,Dr ,even though he and his family did not travel out of town, to all of the meets, only the meats around Arizona. He was also a very accomplished skateboarder who competed in many competitions and earned a great reputation in the skating world. Erick was sponsored by a local skate shop and could have gone on to become a professional skateboarder if it had not been for the mounting injuries that would eventually contribute to his downfall.

Erick worked in an auction warehouse. He had an outgoing personality and could easily make friends wherever he went. He was very driven, and when he put his mind to something, nothing could stop him from trying to be the best at it.

Erick was proud that he finished high school. One of his last accomplishments was reaching his two-year mark of sobriety in May. He also got his first apartment back in November with D and Steve.

Erick leaves behind his mother, Sandra Campbell; his stepfather, Eric Campbell; his father, Charles Maness; his sister, Ashley Flores, his nephew Drew Loyd and sister,Hayle Campbell; his little niece, Adaline Dimov; his brother-in-law, Boris Dimov; and his grandmother, Joan Maness. 

Erick is now reunited with Sebastian and Mason, whom his family feels he is very happy to be with. The family lost a big part of Erick when Sebastian passed away. He is also reunited with his grandmother Linda, great grandmother Ginny and great grandfather Rep.

Erick will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew and loved him.

I love you, Eric.(my son.) Now, I know you’re finally at rest. No more worries. I am going to miss you.💋❤️💋
