Eufemia Parreno passed away on July 5, 2026, in the United States after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was born on September 15, 1950, in the Philippines.

Eufemia devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She lovingly cared for her children and made her home a place of love, comfort, and faith. She loved to pray, attend church, sing, and listen to worship songs. She also enjoyed meeting new people, sharing conversations, and spending time with cats and dogs. Her kind heart, cheerful sense of humor, and friendly personality made her loved by everyone who knew her.

Her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted mother to her five children, three daughters and two sons. She spent most of her life in the Philippines, where she lived with her son, Juper, and daughter-in-law, Joanne. Her daughter, Mary Ann, also lived in the Philippines for many years.

She loved to travel and especially enjoyed visiting Australia, where her daughter, Maria, resides, and Canada, where her son, Elmer, and daughter-in-law, Jovie, live. In her later years, she lived in the United States with her eldest daughter, Vivian, her son-in-law, Jesus, and their family. She was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren, each of whom brought her great joy.

Eufemia will be remembered as a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring sister, and cherished friend. She always put others before herself and gave her time, strength, patience, and love without expecting anything in return. She taught her family the importance of kindness, compassion, faith, and putting family first.

Her family will always treasure the memories they shared with her, from family gatherings and celebrations to simple conversations, hugs, and everyday moments that became priceless gifts. Though her absence leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, her love, lessons, and example will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.

She is survived by her daughters, Vivian Villalobos, Maria Mathe Shore, and Mary Ann Pelayo; her sons, Elmer Parreno and Juper Parreno; her sons-in-law, Jesus Villalobos and Michael Shore; her daughters-in-law, Jovie Parreno and Joanne Parreno; and her beloved grandchildren: Raven Gomez, Regine Gomez, Ranielle Gomez, Ramon Gomez, Julia Villalobos, Kien Giron, Tim Pelayo,Mat Pelayo, Hesper Parreno, Zeki Parreno, and Yuri Parreno.

A memorial service is tentatively planned for Friday, August 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Hotel Maya.
