Our Veteran’s Day baby of 1944, thirteenth born to Claire Genevieve (Peterson) Borst and Henry Charles Borst in Newark, New Jersey.

Uncle Walter enjoyed his life his way.  He moved from Jersey in the late 80’s early 90’s with his brother Billy to California.  They made many friends on their journey in LA over the last 30 years.

The stories he would share with anyone that would listen learned so much from him.  We all joked with him about writing a book.  He was a great walking history for our family.  He remembered so much.

There is a big family reunion happening with Uncle Walter going ahead of his nieces and nephews.  He has gone to be with his mother and father, siblings Agnes, Robert (Bobby), Theresa, Josephine (Joann), Louis, John (Jackie), Joan, Joseph (Mickey), Caroline, Rosemary, William (Billy), and Henry (Paul).  Along with many other family members gone too soon.

He will be greatly missed by all his Los Angeles friends (Francesca and Joel) to name these angels that helped us during our goodbyes.  All his nieces and nephews will try and remember the stories to share with the generations below us.
