Gabriel Henry Jaurequi was born on May 9, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on April 13, 2026, in Maywood, California.

Gabriel was known for his friendly personality, contagious laughter, and sense of humor that often caught people off guard. He loved making jokes, keeping those around him entertained, and bringing laughter into everyday moments. Beneath his humor was a humble man with a big heart.

He worked in construction for years before he became disabled. He was proud of the buildings he worked on in the Los Angeles area and would point out what kind of work he did. In his free time, Gabriel enjoyed watching Westerns and reading novels by Louis L'Amour. He especially loved John Wayne movies for many years until he found out how prejudiced he was.

He was a humble guy. He probably didn't care how we remembered him. He knew he made a lot of mistakes in his life, but he still had a big heart and loved with all of it.

A memorial service for Gabriel Henry Jaurequi will be held at New Beginnings Community Ministries, located at 3903 Tyler Ave., El Monte, California 91731, on June 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
