Gabrielle was a kind and gentle soul who had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved Yorkies. She brought immense joy to everyone who knew her and deserved far more years than she was given. From a young age, she faced the challenges of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and bravely endured many related illnesses and hospital stays throughout her life. Her final days were spent at UCLA Hospital, where she tragically passed away on the very day she was meant to return home. Her doctor shared that her radiant smile always lit up the room whenever he visited.
Gabrielle’s passion in life was caring for others. She pursued her dream of becoming a nurse and completed nursing school, but her illness and pain ultimately prevented her from continuing in the profession she loved. Still, she found purpose and joy working part-time as the Office Manager and Assistant Director at The Classical Ballet School, where she was cherished by students, parents, and staff alike. Her little Yorkie, “Seven,” often accompanied her to the school, greeting the children each day and earning the title of the school’s Goodwill Ambassador.
Throughout her life, Gabrielle found joy in the companionship of her dogs and cats, her love of glitter and rhinestones—lavishly adorning her home and surroundings with them—her deep affection for sushi, which she would have gladly eaten at every meal, and her appreciation for the music of Pink, Billie Eilish, and Vivaldi.
She leaves behind Stella Croxon, who was destined to become her “Bonus Mom”, caregiver and friend for the last 14 years of her life.
Gabrielle will be remembered as a sweet, compassionate spirit, full of light and love, taken far too soon at just 38 years old. Surely, she is now sprinkling glitter among the stars, her beautiful smile shining brightly in the heavens above
Goodnight, sweet Gabrielle. You will be missed forever.
