Gary Phillips was born on August 10, 1952, in California and passed away on May 15, 2026, in Anaheim, California, due to cardiac arrest.
Gary proudly served in the United States military for 10 years in both the Army and Navy. His time in the military was one of his proudest accomplishments.
He loved going to military surplus stores and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Gary was known for always being happy and for having a charismatic personality. He was loving, caring, and enjoyed being around others.
Gary is survived by his two daughters, Christina Lloyd (Phillips) and Rebecca Phillipson (Phillips).
He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Phillips; his father, Louis Phillips; and his mother, Beverly Cole.
Gary will be remembered for his caring nature and the joy he brought to those around him. One of the sayings he lived by was, “Live every day like it’s your last.”
