Helen C. Hernandez, age 91, passed away on September 5, 2025, in Pasadena, California. Born on January 30, 1934, in Los Angeles, she lived a life marked by devotion, perseverance, and faith.
A steadfast Christian, Helen drew strength and purpose from her spirituality. In her final days, she was lovingly ministered by Holly Cruz and remained devoted in prayer for those she held dear. Her faith was a guiding light through every season of her journey.
Helen’s most enduring legacy is the family she nurtured with unwavering love and sacrifice. As a mother to Claudette Ferguson, Michael Minjarez, David Minjarez, and Loretta Minjarez-Kraft, she worked tirelessly—often holding multiple jobs—to provide for their well-being and future. Her quiet strength and constant love were the foundation of their lives.
She is fondly remembered by her sister Rachel Regalado; son-in-law Chris Kraft; grandchildren Tina Ramos, Timothy Ferguson, Michael Minjarez Jr., Christina Minjarez, Chloe Kraft, and Nate Kraft; and great-grandchildren Evelyn Ramos, Andrew Ramos, Alex Bolanos, Alyssa Nunez, Layalani Minjarez, and Jace Ferguson. Helen’s life was a testament to grace through adversity—a story of enduring love shaped by deep faith.
