Herminia Serrano was born on May 5, 1938, in Tovar, Mérida, Venezuela. She passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, due to natural causes.

Herminia was a devoted nurse for 30 years. She took great pride in her work and was known for performing her duties with dedication, responsibility, and the highest standards of care.

She was a social butterfly with a chatty, warm personality that drew people to her. Maria loved cross-stitching and cooking, and she found joy in caring for those around her. 

One of her proudest accomplishments was achieving her dream of owning her own home after years of effort and perseverance. She was also deeply proud of her son, to whom she devoted herself with great sacrifices and determination, helping him reach his full potential.

Herminia will be remembered as a deeply loving and caring mother, a great friend, an excellent daughter, and a woman who lived with pride, responsibility, and compassion. 

She is survived by her son, Ramon Leonardo Serrano.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Elba Serrano, and her sister, Maria Ligia Villarreal.

Herminia’s legacy of love, service, and dedication will live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
