Jackie Jean Walden passed away on June 7, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. She was 57 years old.
Born on December 27, 1968, in Midland, Michigan,"she was the third of four siblings”. Jackie was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and loving nature. She had a personality that drew people to her and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there when someone needed her.
Jackie had a creative spirit and a passion for painting and making things with her hands. She loved turning ordinary materials into beautiful creations and was always working on a new project. Whether she was crafting, building, fixing, or creating something new, she rarely sat still for long. If she did not know how to do something, she taught herself and figured it out along the way. Her determination and creativity were admired by all who knew her.
Jackie earned her Bachelor's Degree from Davenport University, an accomplishment she was very proud of. Yet despite her academic achievements, she often said that her greatest accomplishment in life was her children. She adored them and took immense pride in being their mother. Family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved. Whether sharing laughter, creating memories, or simply being together, Jackie treasured her family above all else..
Jackie would want to be remembered not for the challenges she faced, but for the love she shared. She would want people to remember her as a devoted mother, a loving family member, and someone who never gave up when faced with an obstacle. She was determined, resourceful, and always willing to learn something new.
The time spent with family, the laughter shared around the table, the projects she poured her heart into, and the encouragement she gave to others. Most of all, she would want to be remembered as someone who loved deeply, cared fiercely, and believed that her greatest accomplishment in life was her children.
Jackie cherished her little sister and shared a special bond with her that was built on love, laughter, support, and countless cherished memories. Through life's joys and challenges, they were always there for one another. Their bond was unwavering, and the memories they created together will be treasured forever. They were sisters by chance and best friends by choice. Jackie deeply adored her family and found her greatest happiness in the love they shared.
