James “Jim” Shaw passed away on October 18, 2025, in Boulevard, California. He was born on August 22, 1956, in Orange, California.

Jim lived a quiet and meaningful life centered around honesty, hard work, and love for his family. He was a talented chef who spent his career creating meals that brought people together. 

Jim enjoyed simple pleasures that gave him peace and joy. He loved fishing, playing the harmonica, hiking in nature, and cooking for those he cared about. 

Among his proudest accomplishments were his five children & subsequent grandchildren who were the center of his life and his greatest source of pride.

He is survived by his wife Deborah; his children Andrew, David, Allora, Alyssa, and Benjamin; 5 grandchildren and his siblings John and Judy. He was preceded in death by his mother Diane and his father Chester.

Jim will be remembered for his honesty and the love he shared with those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
