With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Janelle Cheri Butler Delabar, who passed away on August 31, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, due to heart complications. She was born in California on February 8, 1957.

Janelle was a beautiful model and an amazing entertainer. She loved making others laugh and was extremely helpful to those around her. She talked to everyone she met and had a natural ability to connect with people. She believed everyone was honest and loved to laugh. She also enjoyed blowing bubbles, bringing her playful spirit and happiness to those around her.

Janelle was especially proud of her daughter, Keisha, and the independent and happy woman she became. Her love for her daughter was an important part of her life.

Janelle would want to be remembered for always being happy and for making others happy. Her laughter, kindness, and joyful spirit will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Janelle is survived by her only child, Keisha Breanne Delabar Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Michael, and Bradley; her father, Jonathan; and her mother, Emma.

A memorial gathering will be held on October 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Santa Clarita Elk's Lodge #2379, 17766 Sierra Hwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91351.

Janelle will be remembered for her laughter, happiness, and the joy she brought to the lives of others. She will be deeply missed.
