Janis Kinman passed away on June 28, 2026, in Glendale, Arizona, following health issues. She was 75 years old.

Born on July 24, 1951, in New Hampshire, Janis moved to Salinas, California, in 1961, where she graduated from North Salinas High School. Janis was known for her outgoing personality, caring nature, and happy spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family, raising cockatiel and parakeet birds, caring for her beloved dog, Pistol, surfing during her high school years, and listening to music.

After graduating from high school, Janis managed the dental offices of Dr. Zobel and Dr. J.C. Campbell in Salinas, California. In 1982, she moved to Tombstone, Arizona, where she became the Manager of the Tombstone Epitaph. She took great pride in her work and managed the newspaper for 20 years before retiring.

After her retirement from the Tombstone Epitaph, Janis enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with her husband, Kenny Kinman, in their RV before they eventually settled in Glendale, Arizona.

Janis was most proud of raising her two sons, whom she loved dearly. She would want to be remembered as a happy, kind person and the life of the party. She will also be remembered by her family and friends for the joy and warmth she brought into their lives.

Janis is survived by her sons, Chad and Brody; her grandchildren, Dylan and Tyler; and her sister, Kim.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Kinman.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
