Jean Miller passed away on June 17, 2026, in Hemet, California, due to pulmonary fibrosis. She was 84 years old.

Born on November 27, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Jean was known for her intelligence, strong work ethic, and devotion to her family. Though she was more on the quiet side, she was attentive and caring, always looking after those she loved. Even during her own illness, she remained concerned about her husband's well-being and whether he was eating and taking care of himself.

Jean spent much of her career in administrative and executive support roles. She began working at Doubleday on Wall Street and later served as secretary to a bank president. She eventually became the assistant to the managing partner of a CPA firm that represented actors, directors, producers, singing groups, and other entertainment professionals. Jean took great pride in her work, and her employers knew that every task she was given would be completed with accuracy and dedication.

One of Jean's most notable talents was her typing ability. She was proud of being able to type more than 100 words per minute with exceptional accuracy. What made this even more remarkable was that she maintained very long fingernails, something many people thought would make typing difficult. Jean proved otherwise, typing quickly and accurately without letting anything stand in her way.

In her personal life, Jean loved gardening and decorating her home. She enjoyed rearranging furniture, updating curtains and pillows, and creating a beautiful and welcoming space for her family.

Jean would want to be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took pride in maintaining a beautiful home and cherished her family above all else.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Miller; her daughter, Barbara Wolf; her son-in-law, Tim Wolf; her sisters, Toni Scaraglino and Rose Scaraglino; her granddaughter, Brittany Hall and her husband Kenny Hall; her grandson, Tyler Wolf and his wife Alexa Wolf; her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Hall, Maverick Hall, Walker Wolf, and Cannon Wolf; her niece, Tracey Scaraglino LaFroscia and family; her nephew, Jonathan Ashley and family; and her nephew, Eric Scaraglino.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Salvatore Scaraglino; her father, Anthony Scaraglino; her mother, Rose Scaraglino; and her sister, Bea Adams.

Jean will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
