Joan Mary Albert passed away on June 7, 2026, in Glendora, California, at the age of 79.

Born on June 4, 1947, in Manhattan, New York, Joan was known for her sense of humor, wisdom, inquisitive nature, kindness, and honesty. She valued her family above all else and enjoyed spending time at the beach, following politics, shopping, and caring for pets.

Joan worked as a Human Resources Manager during her professional career. She was proud of her education, her love of reading, and, most importantly, her children and family.

She would like to be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as an advocate for causes she believed in, including women's rights. She participated in demonstrations and was passionate about staying informed and engaged with the world around her.

Joan is survived by her husband, Gerard Albert, and her son, Rod Albert.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Albert, who passed away on July 4, 1995.

Joan's memory will live on through her family and all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her caring nature, thoughtful perspective, and dedication to those closest to her.
