John "Jack" Casey
Obituary

John Casey, affectionately known as "Jack," passed away on August 15, 2026, in Buckley, Washington, following heart failure and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). He was born on February 22, 1948, in Butte, Montana.

Jack built a career that reflected his hardworking nature, serving as an Intermountain bus driver, business owner, and car salesman. Throughout his life, he was passionate about staying active, spending time with family and friends, and following sports. A devoted supporter of Seattle sports teams, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams and sharing that enthusiasm with those around him.

Jack was known for his outgoing personality and his ability to leave a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had the gift of conversation and genuinely enjoyed learning about others. Whether calling to check in on loved ones or gathering with family and friends over a good meal, he made people feel valued and connected.

One of Jack's greatest accomplishments was his lifelong dedication to athletics. He approached every sport with enthusiasm and commitment. Above all, he treasured his family and friends, and he especially enjoyed family gatherings and the time spent making memories together.

Jack would want to be remembered for his great sense of humor and the deep love he had for his daughters, family, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Kristina Miller and Tara Neff; his brothers, Tom Casey and Tim Casey; his nephew, Shaun Fitzpatrick; and his cherished grandchildren, Jayden Schierling, Carson Miller, and Landon Miller.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Casey; his father, John Casey Sr.; and his sister, Danette Jorgensen.

A reception celebrating Jack's life will be held on September 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Buckley Eagles.

Jack will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
