Manuel era un artista y pintor que disfrutaba viajar. Trabajaba como jardinero, y también se dedicaba a la compraventa. Era un trabajador incansable y gozaba de su trabajo.

Era una persona sociable, amable y conocido por conectar fácilmente con los demás. Le encantaba aprender sobre la historia, disfrutaba de la lectura y apreciaba las diferentes culturas. Le sobreviven sus hermanos Teresa Pérez Rodríguez y Magdalena Pérez Rodríguez, así como muchos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Le precedio en la muerte sus padres, Juan Perez Soto; y, Francisca Rodriguez Vazquez; y sus hermanos y hermanas Miguel Pérez Rodríguez, Rosa Pérez Rodríguez, Consuelo Pérez Rodríguez, Luis Pérez Rodríguez, Ignacio Pérez Rodríguez, Margarita Pérez Rodríguez, and Jesusita Pérez Rodríguez. Tambien le preceden en la muerte varios sobrinos y sobrinas: Jose “Pepe,” Jesus “Chuy,” Jaime, Martinsito, María Elena “La güera,” Norma, Magdalena “la gorda,” Luis “Güicho,” Francisco “Pancho-Frank,” Berta, and Enrique.

Manuel será recordado por su bondad, su amor por el aprendizaje y la felicidad que trajo a quienes lo rodeaban.

José Manuel Pérez Rodríguez was born on May 24, 1944, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and passed away on February 24, 2026, in Seattle, Washington, due to natural causes.

Manuel was an artist and painter who enjoyed traveling. He worked as a gardener and in landscaping, and he also spent time buying and selling. He was a hard worker who took pride in what he did.

He was a social butterfly, kind, and known for connecting easily with others. He loved to learn about history, enjoyed reading, and appreciated different cultures. He would want to be remembered as a happy person who valued knowledge, conversation, and new experiences.

He is survived by his siblings Teresa Pérez Rodríguez and Magdalena Pérez Rodríguez, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Perez Soto; his mother, Francisca Rodriguez Vazquez; and his siblings Miguel Pérez Rodríguez, Rosa Pérez Rodríguez, Consuelo Pérez Rodríguez, Luis Pérez Rodríguez, Ignacio Pérez Rodríguez, Margarita Pérez Rodríguez, and Jesusita Pérez Rodríguez.
