Joseph Aguilera, born December 6, 1992, was called home far too soon, leaving behind a family who loves him deeply and will carry his memory for the rest of their lives.
Joseph was the beloved son of Robert Aguilera Jr and Jessica Galvan. In life, he was a quiet soul, but his silence was never emptiness—it was depth. Those who truly knew him understood that beneath his quiet nature was a deeply protective heart, a loyal spirit, and a love for his family that didn’t need many words to be felt.
He is survived by his son, Miles, who will forever be a living reflection of his love and legacy. Joseph also leaves behind his brothers Miguel Galvan, Anthony Caldera, and Robbie Aguilera, and his sisters Heather Galvan and Isabell Apodaca, his grandmothers Karen Aguilera and Maggie Galvan, all of whom will continue to carry him in their hearts and memories.
He is also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews—Prince-Jonathan, Orion, Ezekiel, Julian, Angel, Anakkin, Jae’Leen, Aleena, Arianna, Arielle, and Adylan—as well as his aunts Kristin, Elissa, Rosemary, and Mary, and his uncles Josh, Orlando, Edwin, Carlos, and a host of cousins and friends. His presence in their lives, no matter how big or small the moment, will never be forgotten.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Robert Aguilera Jr, his grandfather Robert Aguilera Sr, his great-grandmother Mariana Cartagena, brother John Caldera, and cousin David Becerra Jr.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in believing JoJo is now reunited with those who went before him—resting in peace, surrounded by love, and free from pain. May he be embraced in eternal light, guided home by grace, and remembered always for the quiet strength and love he carried in this life.
Joseph’s time here was not nearly long enough, but the impact he made will remain forever. He will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and never forgotten.
