Obituary

Joyce Linda Clark passed away at home on August 31, 2026, due to COPD and heart complications. She was born on September 12, 1947, in Providence, Rhode Island.

Joyce enjoyed a full social calendar and treasured every opportunity to spend time with family and friends. She loved playing bingo, cards, Bunco, Right Left Center, and dice. She also enjoyed crafts and painting. One of her final projects was making a baby blanket and bonnet for a friend who was expecting a first grandchild.

Joyce worked for many years in restaurant service, where she enjoyed serving others.

Those who knew Joyce will remember her as a social butterfly with a kind heart who was always thinking of others. She lived life to the fullest and continued to enjoy the people and activities she loved despite facing many health challenges.

One of Joyce's greatest blessings was the close bond she shared with her sister, Johnna. They lived together for more than 20 years and were each other's source of love and support. She also cherished her nieces and nephews, especially the special time she shared with her niece, Jenn, who stayed with Joyce and Johnna and created many treasured memories with them. Joyce was grateful for the many friendships she made throughout her life, including one that began in grade school.

Joyce would want to be remembered as someone who lived life to the fullest, cared deeply for others, and always wore a smile.

She is survived by her sisters, Janice, Joanne, and Johnna; her nieces, Jenn, Kelly, Kim, Kristine, Michelle, Denise, and Christy; her nephew, Mike; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-niece; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rita, her brother, James, her husband Arthur Clark, and niece, Marci.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Joyce's kindness, love for family and friends, and joyful spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
