Juan Manuel Martinez Garcia was born on June 26, 1961, in Pihuamo, Jalisco, and passed away on February 18, 2026, in Riverside, California, due to heart failure.
Juan was a hardworking man who spent his years working as a drywall contractor, plumber, and handyman.
He had a deep love for baseball, both playing and watching the game for many years, and was a dedicated Dodgers fan. He also enjoyed playing chess, riding his bike, and following basketball, especially watching Caitlin Clark. Juan loved nature, including his plants and birds, especially his cockatiel, and he found peace in looking at the stars and planets through his telescope at night. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Juan was known for being quiet, kind, and respectful. He was proud of his accomplishments in baseball, earning many four-foot trophies, and was especially proud of his son Anthony and his step son Allan.
He would want to be remembered as a loving father, husband, brother, and a hardworking man.
Juan is survived by his son Anthony; his step son Allan; his granddaughter Zaidie; his grandsons Dominic and Kyler; his sister Graciela; his brothers Hime and Albert; his sisters Letty Urias, Cristina Corona, Hilda Barga, and Sylvia Lozano; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cristina Martinez; his father, Albert Martinez; and his wife, Brenda.
A Mass will be held on Friday, April 10th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, followed by burial at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to join for Manuel’s Celebration of Life at Mike and Letty’s house following the burial.
