Julita L. Corpuz passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in Lake Forest, California, at the age of 87. Born in Baler, Philippines, she later made Long Beach, California her longtime home. Julita lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by family, love, and countless memories.

Julita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel S. Corpuz, and her son, Jayson Corpuz.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Jocelyn Acosta (Gary Acosta), Jemellee Corpuz, and Judith San Miguel (Eric San Miguel) and daughter-in-law Kristine Corpuz. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren Jessamaye De la Isla (Jay De la Isla), Jaymee Isles (Michael Isles), Jeanelle Acosta, Jealygne Acosta, Nila Rodriguez, Jordan San Miguel, Julianne San Miguel, Alayna Corpuz, Jayden Corpuz, Juliette Corpuz, and Jacob Corpuz, and her beloved great-grandchildren Jovian De la Isla and Jaxon De la Isla.

To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was affectionately known as “Grandma-Mommy,” a name that reflected the deep love, care, and presence she had in their lives.

Julita dedicated more than 45 years of her life to the nursing profession, including more than 25 years as a Registered Nurse with Kaiser Permanente, where she cared for countless patients with compassion, dedication, and skill. During her many years at Kaiser, she formed meaningful friendships with her coworkers, who meant a great deal to her and became an important part of her life.

Outside of her career, Julita embraced life with an adventurous spirit, enthusiasm, and style. She loved traveling the world, exploring new places and cultures, and creating lasting memories along the way. At home, she found peace and pride in caring for her orchid collection, tending to them with patience and love.

Julita was also known for her sharp sense of style and pride in her appearance. She believed in always looking polished and put together—a true fashionista at heart. Whether it was a beautiful outfit, sparkling jewelry, or simply carrying herself with elegance, she had a natural way of making everything look refined. Diamonds and karats always brought a sparkle to her eye.

She also had a generous heart and remained deeply connected to her roots. Julita often helped support family and extended family back home in the Philippines, always wanting to give back and make sure her loved ones were cared for.

Julita lived life fully and on her own terms. She traveled the world, achieved the things she set out to accomplish, and built a life centered around family, love, and resilience. Her strength, grace, and generosity will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though she is gone from our sight, her love, strength, and the many lessons she shared will live on through the family she cherished so deeply. Her memory will remain in our hearts forever.
