Kathryn "Kathy" Marsh Hendrix, 69, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026. Born on March 19, 1957, in Norman, Oklahoma, Kathy was the beloved second daughter of Dale and Monnette Marsh.

In 1975, Kathy married the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Hendrix. Together, they built a life rooted in trust and love that spanned over five decades. Their home became a haven for family gatherings and celebrations, where Kathy’s warmth and hospitality made everyone feel welcome.

Kathy was a devoted wife and mother who raised her two children, Charles "Rob" Hendrix and Charlotte Hendrix, with unwavering patience and care. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren—Kimberlee, Dakota, Torey, Ashley, Bailey, Frankie, and C.J.—and great-grandchildren—Isaiah, Liliana, Ranay, Damien, Kamryn, Brynlee, and Josephine—who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them and created countless memories filled with love and laughter.

Kathy had a passion for estate and antique sales and found joy in discovering treasures that reflected her appreciation for history and beauty. She also worked at a bowling center surrounded by military families—a role that allowed her to connect with people from all walks of life. Later in life, she embraced her role as a stay-at-home mom and nanny with dedication and pride.

Those who knew Kathy remember her as someone who could make anyone feel at home within minutes of meeting her. Her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Kathy is survived by her husband Chuck; her children Rob and Charlotte; her mother Monnette Marsh; her siblings Marion "Mernie" Marsh, Dennis (Sherry) Marsh, and Allen Marsh; her grandchildren Kimberlee, Dakota, Torey, Ashley, Bailey, Frankie, C.J.; her great-grandchildren Isaiah, Liliana, Ranay, Damien, Kamryn, Brynlee, Josephine; as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Dale Marsh.

Kathy’s legacy is one of love—a love that radiated through every aspect of her life. May the memory of her warmth bring comfort to all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Baptist Church 5100 Parliament Dr.
