Kenneth “Ken” Alan Weste passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 in Long Beach, CA at the age of 75.

Ken was born on January 15, 1951 in Oroville, CA, the eldest son of Loren and Tyjuan Weste. He graduated from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, CA and received his Bachelor’s in Chemistry at UC Davis before moving to Southern California to start a family.

Throughout his life, Ken was known for his gentle and kind nature, and his unending willingness to help.

Ken dedicated his life to teaching; mentoring boys and men for his entire adult life through volunteer work in the Royal Rangers, and by achieving his lifelong goal of becoming a high school teacher.

Ken is survived by his children Kit (wife Laura), Drew (wife Sania), and Gwen, by his grandchildren Skye, Ely, Edyn, Aaliyah, and Riley, and by his younger siblings Linda, Roger, and Joy. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and brother.

Ken will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, faith, and devotion to family, friends and God.

A memorial service will be held at Westminster Christian Assembly in Westminster, CA on Saturday, July 25th at 11am.
