Kimberly Dean Williams was born in Detroit, Michigan, and passed away on January 15, 2026, at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills due to complications from pancreatic cancer.

Kimberly’s greatest passion was her family, especially her daughter Alexandra. She also deeply loved music and art. She was the co-owner of Kenny’s Music, where she played an important role in helping the store achieve recognition as one of the top 100 music stores in North America for three consecutive years. She also served on the arts and cultural committee in Dana Point.

Kimberly was known as one of the kindest and most gentle people many had ever known. People from all around the world were touched by her warm smile and genuine concern for others. She consistently put others before herself. She was incredibly intelligent and had a soothing voice that brought comfort immediately. Her laughter was big, expressive, and unforgettable, and those close to her always knew when they had made her laugh.

She was proud of her work, her service to the arts community, and most of all being a devoted mother, loving wife, and loyal friend. She helped the poor and downtrodden every chance she could, living her life with compassion and generosity.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Kenny Williams, and her daughter, Alexandra Valbjorn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Dean, her father, Edward Dean, and her sister, Deana Dean.

Kimberly wished to be remembered for her extreme kindness, even in the face of adversity. Her warmth, grace, and loving spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
