Laura Dell Farrar, 59, passed away on August 2, 2026 in California.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Laura was born on November 1, 1966, in Anson, Texas to Nunley Grady Farrar and Erma Dell Farrar. She dedicated more than 25 years of her life to working in healthcare, where she compassionately cared for others. Laura had a deep love for animals, treasured her family, and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and friends.

Laura is lovingly remembered by her daughters Allison Rivera and husband John Rivera, Melba Charlene, and Ali Cutlip and husband Randy Cutlip. She is also survived by her sister, Sharron Herring and husband David; her brothers, Garron Farrar and wife Rhonda, Greg Farrar and wife Cindy, and Roy Farrar; and her brother-in-law, John Nichols.

She also leaves behind her honarary sisters, Cindy Norwood and husband Jim, Debbie Olow and husband Eugene; her honarary brother, Vernon Cook and wife Reyna; her stepchildren, Ronald, Regina, Rhonda, Tommy Jr., and Melinda; six grandchildren, Jacoby, Aron, JD, Lyndsey, Harley, and Trinity; and one great-grandchild, Lotus Rivera.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents Nunley Grady Farrar and Erma Dell Farrar; her beloved husband, Tommy West; her stepdaughter, Sandra; her sister, Sue Nichols; her brother, Jerry Farrar; her honary parents, Nix & Janet Cook; andher honaray nephew, VJ Hirst.
