Alan LaPine, 57, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on February 9, 2026, in his hometown.

Born December 10, 1968, in Seattle, Alan lived a life defined by hard work and varied pursuits.

Over the years, he served as a volunteer firefighter, worked as a delivery truck driver throughout the Pacific Northwest, and lent his voice to radio and voice-over projects. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran, a role he held with pride.

Alan had a lifelong passion for sports, particularly football, and enjoyed voice acting and announcing—interests that remained important to him throughout his life.

He was known for his strong personality, sharp sense of humor, and ability to make others laugh. Though he could be stubborn and direct, those who knew him understood his generosity and the depth of his care for others.

Alan was a devoted father who valued his children above all else. He also appreciated the time he spent in radio and podcast communities, where he found connection and a sense of belonging.

He is survived by his son, Taylor LaPine, and his daughter, Makaila Iwanski. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diana Lee La Pine, and his eldest son, Brant Alan LaPine.

A private cremation is planned.
